NSW:O'Farrell praises police bomb response

NSW Premier BARRY O'FARRELL has praised police for the sensitive way in which they
handled a bomb scare on Sydney's lower north shore.

18-year-old MADELEINE PULVER from Mosman had what was believed to be a sophisticated
explosive device fastened around her neck for around 10 hours yesterday, but it was found
to be non-explosive.

Mr O'FARRELL says he's delighted Ms PULVER'S ordeal had come to a satisfactory resolution
and he praised the efforts of the police involved.
