Although the Volvo International Tennis Tournament has been sold out for the third consecutive year, tickets appear plentiful in the parking lot and in front of the main gate.
They're being offered by scalpers, but there are so many of them that a small-scale price war has been going on the past few days.
"I'll sell you two for $5 bucks each," a scalper named Jack said Thursday.
Of course, it was midafternoon and half the matches were over for the day. But at least five other scalpers were offering tickets for the three remaining days of the tournament.
